To set up a Beckman DXH520 a Static IP address and port number would need to be assigned for the instrument.

On the instrument settings find settings then click LIS setup, it will appear as bellow
This is where the IP address and the port number goes and
Protocol should be TCP/IP

On preLink

Go to Administration then Instrument management > Add new record
A window like the one below will appear

The Analyzer IP address and port number should be the same as the one on the instrument.
Click update then restart the Instrument Control App for the changes to take effect.
