The Rack Management module is used to view sample tube racks that are in storage, and info such as their age/status. It is used in conjunction with the Tube Storage (short term storage), and Tube Rack Management (Administration) modules.
Note: Access to storage modules on preLink is restricted to certain roles. Contact your preLink Administrator if you require access.

To access Rack Management, select "Specimen > Tube Storage > Rack Management" on the preLink menu bar, as shown below.
The following screenshot is an example of the screen that will appear:
As stated on the Rack Management screen: "Dates in red are older than the specified number of days to keep. You may only clear racks older than the specified number of days to keep."
The "number of days to keep" is set in the Tube Rack Management (Administration) module. To view the article, click here.
